Storyboard for my Real Techniques Miracle Face & Body Sponge commercial

First Scene- During this scene, I will be filming the beauty sponge. This will be an extreme closeup tracking the main subject. It will be recorded as a handheld via my phone. The location of this sponge is on top of a vanity that contributes to the conventions of a makeup commercial. This will be recorded at a semi-high single. Second Scene-   Secondly, in this next scene, I will film myself holding the sponge before it is wet. This will be a closeup to keep the focus on the sponge and actress being shown in the shot. The location is in front of a bright blue wall. This cut will pan from left to right at a medium past. Third Scene- Next, in this scene, I wanted to include a 'Before & After' of the sponge. The before will be before it is soaked in water and the after will be once it is damp and soft. This scene is to show the contrast of the sponge and how big it expands once wet. Genres I would LOVE to research

  For our three genres, we chose: drama, thriller, and mystery. We felt as if these genres matched our pitch perfectly. Our film calls for confusion, in both the actor and the audience. We never truly know what is going on until the end. Researching further into these genres will allow us to not only increase our knowledge but further our film.  Drama This genre employs emotion, various ranges of it. From happy to sad and shocked to scared. Drama is also very versatile. It allows for sub genres to be intertwined with it. With that being said, researching this genre would help us make a good foundation. Thriller   For our film we want to explore dark and engrossing feelings. Mood plays a big part. The aspects of Thriller will help us achieve it. We also want to make sure that the audience stays interested. As our film is only five minutes, every second counts. My Commercial

My commercial is finally done. Looking back at it I do see some things I could have improved on. However, being that this was my first ever project like this, I feel as if I did my best. I am astonished at the amazing quality I brought to the commercial. Each shot looked so high resolution and professional. My voiceover came out better than I expected and the background music motivated my commercial in the best way possible. I made sure to have the proper conventions typically in makeup commercials. I kept all my transitions neat and not choppy. I made sure that they were needed and not excessive. In such a short amount of time, I greatly improved my production skills. I can easily point out different camera angles and movements begin used. Also, I could easily analyze what CLAMPS was needed in my commercial. All in all, I am extremely proud of myself.
