Sound and Dialogue Script 

 Scene 1

-*Click*

-Destiny:“ Looks like we’re on..”

-Destiny:“Hey Saber tooth! Nice to see you on my stream today!”

-Destiny:“ Today’s stream is going to be a fun one.”

-Destiny:“ Minecraft updated the other day. So lets check it out.”

-*Error*

-Destiny:“NOOOO... MY STREAM CRASHED”

-Destiny:“ughhh”

-Destiny:“Oh well. I guess Ill just get started with my day.”

-*Ring*

Scene 2

-*Ring*

-*Click*

-*Yawn*

Scene 3

-No Dialogue 

-Diegetic sound

Scene 5

Scene 6

-*Ring*

-Destiny: “Hey!”

-Cheryl:“Hey girl! Did you hear?”

-Destiny: “Hear what?”

- Cheryl:*Gasps* “Tia is hosting a party tonight! We totally should go.”

-Destiny: “Uhh”

-Cheryl: “Come on. You always stay in doing your “gaming stuff”. Just take a break and live a little.

-Destiny: “It’s not “gaming stuff”. It’s streaming and I have fun doing it. Plus, I don’t like party’s.

-Cheryl:“I know YOU did not just say that you don’t like party’s. The Destiny Power’s, doesn’t like party’s? The one who has throws an “ULTIMATE EXTRAVAGANZA” every year for her birthday? *laughs*. I’m not a fool.

-Destiny: “Ok, but that’s in the past. It’s a new year and I want to focus on new things.... like streaming!”

-Cheryl:“Fine. I’ll let you stay in. But don’t text me that you’re bored later, ok?”

-Destiny: “Yeah yeah, ok. Byee  Cheryl.”

-Cheryl:“Bye Destiny!”

Scene 7

-Destiny: “She’ll never understand.”

Scene 8

-“VO: Did you hear?”

-“VO: Omg you wont guess what happened!”

-“VO: Destiny where are you?”

-“VO: Destiny! Answer me!”

Scene 9

-Destiny:“Hey Guys! Welcome to my stream!”

-Destiny:“Today is going to be super fun! I’m going to be playing a new game called “Among Us”. Have any of you heard of it?”

-Destiny:“Nice!”

-Destiny:“Alright! Let’s get started”

Scene 10

-“ Omg you wont guess what happened!”

-“ Destiny where are you?”

-“Destiny! Answer me!”

-“This is Cheryl! Sorry but I’m not a my phone right now! Leave a message.... or not! Byeeee!

-Destiny:“Come on Cheryl pick up!”

-Destiny: “What? Blocked?!”

Shooting Script 

Scene 1:

-Master shot on a computer 

-A hand clicks on a mouse 

-The girl is talking to a stream

-She starts to play

-Her stream crashes and she skated the computer in frustration -pan

-She relaxes and gets up from the desk 

-She hears an alarm

-Diegetic sound: one click of the mouse, the girl talking and her game.

-Non diegetic sound: an alarm goin going off

Scene 2:

-A phone alarm is going off

-A finger clicks it off

-It is revealed the girl waking up and yawing 

-She just woke up from a dream

-Gets out of bed and starts getting ready

-Diegetic sound: The phone alarming and yawing 

-Music: Walking on sunshine starts playing

Scene 3

-The girl brushing her teeth and washing her face -tilt

-She takes a shower

- She fixes herself

-Diegetic sound: faucet running from the sink and shower 

-Music: Walking on sunshine continues to play

Scene 4

-The girl is back in her room- wide shot

- She sit down at a vanity and starts doing her makeup

-She is lightly humming

-Diegetic sound: humming 

-Music “Walking on sunshine”

Scene 5

-The girl is walking downstairs to her kitchen and starts making breakfast 

-Music: Walking on sunshine starts to dim down

Scene 6

-The girl is on her patio

-Her phone starts to ring

-She picks up and starts talking

-Her friend Cheryl on the other line is talking

-The exchange words, close ups on their faces, shot reverse shot, two shot, and wide shots.

-Diegetic Sound: Dialogue between the two girl.

Scene 7

-The girl cleans up her dishes 

-Then goes out for a run

Scene 8

-The girl puts her phone down and leaves from the camera

-Close-up on her phone blowing up

-Urgent messages going through but the girl does not see

-Diegetic sound: the ringing of the phone going off.

-Low angle

Scene 9

-The girl is streaming again at her desk

-Her phone is by her side (high angle) but she doe snot look at it

-The phone continues to ring and she silences it still not looking at the messages.

-  Diegetic sound of the girl talking, game playing and phone ringing

Scene 10

-The girls pauses her stream

-She finally looks a her phone (point of view shot)

-She starts to read all the missed messages from Cheryl 

-She proceeds to call her but no one answers

-She looks back at the messages and she’s she got blocked

-Diegetic sound: Mainly sighs and what’s. Sounds of worry and confusion

Production Blog- Second day of fliming

     My group and I began day two of filming today. We had intended on filming the vehicle and car crash scenes. We knew we had to film them strategically to ensure the safety of ourselves and our surroundings. Due to our scenes repeating, recording each part various times was crucial. We started by recording each part separately then compared them afterward. This made the process smoother since the entire scene was already set. This included the clothing, sets, and proper lighting. Much like the first day, we started to run into some problems. For the majority of our time, everything was running smoothly. However, the weather began to work against us. In some parts, the wind was too active which messed with the audio. Most of the dialogue was washed out so we couldn't really hear. Just before we thought it couldn't get worse... it got worse. Clouds started to form and sooner than later we were forced indoors. Due to this, we were unable to film the car crash. Yet, we used this

Production Blog- Post Card

Due to my absence from school, my group stepped in to complete the postcard. A postcard is a physical or digital small form of advertisement. There is usually a front and back. The theme of the postcard usually matches the genre of the media. In our case: Mystery. The title of our short film is "Wednesday Drive." To get that point across to our viewers, we need to include a car of some sort onto the postcard. After a few website searches for the car in motion, we finally found the right one. The picture we used portrays a car driving fast. Due to the focus of the photo, you can sense the speed is above the speed limit. This plant's images in your mind of what is to come next. Will the driver into a car accident, will they get pulled over. Thus, leaving you wanting more. On the front of our postcard, we also include the showtimes, address, a QR code to the website, and our social media. Every important piece of information the audience may need is right on the card. A Level: Group Blog

Hi! Dru here. As you know, last year for my final task I chose to work alone. Due to covid and time conflicts. However, for my  A level final task I will be grouping up with 2 other people: S and Vanessa G. I am excited to be able to group up rather than work alone. This will help make the process a little easier. We all have different experiences and thoughts so the final product will be a reflection of that.  We plan on brainstorming first. Then, planning the rest of our events. Such as who is filming, acting, and editing. When we choose to meet and themes. I chose to work with these people because we already are comfortable with each other and are hard workers. We are all really passionate in making this the best.  We knew we were going to group up from the start. So I am really glad it all worked out.
