Title Research: Art of the Title Website


     I'm using this site to get a feel for picking titles. Titles are a very important use in films. Different genres mean different titles. Of course, for a horror movie, you'd want something scary. So getting used to different titles helps me a lot. This website has a huge variety of titles that I can research. I've watched over 20 different titles. In doing so, on each one, I take notes about the atmosphere and neatness. Also with this website, I can look at titles from specific designers+ studios. This helps when I want a doing more tedious research.

My Music Video

  It's done! I am so happy that I finished this amazing project. I ran into some problems along the way but all in all, I am happy with the outcome. The only thing I am a little disappointed in is the quality of my video. It was all good until it came to upload my video onto Youtube. However, this is a learning experience to also keep the quality of any project at top priority.  This entire process took about 1 week if you don't count the days that I did nothing. I had a lot of fun with this and will 100% do it again if I have any free time. One way I think I could've improved was with the number of people in the music video. I originally planned for about four people to be in it but I ended up with one. But, you have to work with what you got. Short film research: WHITTLING AWAY/Mystery

Common Sound This short film heavily involved diegetic sound from the river's flowing to the cuts of the knife whittling of the wood.  Common Mis-En-Scene This short film used casual clothing. The Dad wore a t-shirt with pants, and the daughter wore a crop top with jeans. The daughter even has her hair a little messy, which contributes to the curiosity of the watchers. Why is her hair messy? Where was she before this? What is she doing? One of the main props is a tiny knife. We do not get to see the purpose of it until the very end of the film. The lightning in this film is semi-dim. The shots in the house are well light while the scenes in the foster are dim, which creates an eerie feeling. There is no makeup present in the film. The setting of this film is set in a rural area. The house is near a forest with a river. Common Editing This film used lots of mid-shots. Production Blog- Updated schedule

 Hello! The following is our updated schedule plan for our short film. The only thing that has been updated is the filming schedule. Schedule 1/20/21- We will meet up at Vanessa’s house to film the remaining scenes that are meant to be filmed inside of the home. After, we will drive to the nearest Publix to film the needed scenes. We will begin filming at 5pm and complete finishing at 7pm...  1/24/21- We will begin editing our film. We will upload all of the scenes to our computers and edit the scenes. 1/28/21- We will finish editing this day.
